CMU - 2010 Hotcakes 4 Heroes |

Carnegie Mellon Women's Basketball Team partnered up with the Hero Program on January 23rd, 2010 to offer a campus wide pancake breakfast to support the Hero Program and the families we serve. It was an amazing event put on entirely by the female student athletes of Carnegie Mellon. The Hero Program and the Hero Families cannot thank CMU enough for the support they have offered our program in 2009 and 2010. We look forward to working close with the student athletes of CMU for many more years to come.
The morning was filled with great food, good laughs, and a little dancing.... It was a wonderful event and we thank the Women's Basketball team for all their hard work and support!

The Hero Program was honored to be able to provide an opportunity in conjunction with Bruster's Real Ice Cream and Emily Davis Photography for Hero Families to have Holiday Family Photographs taken on Saturday December 12, 2009. It was a truly magical moment for the Hero Program, the Families and everyone in attendance. Words cannot describe how much we appreciate the time and effort of Emily Davis Photography and Bruster's for opening their corporate headquarters to us. Below are only a small sample of the photos to come!

To all of our supporters; we send our warmest Season's Greetings and want you to know that by wearing your Hero band you are making a REAL difference this holiday season!

Frontline Initiative is an organization committed to confronting some of the most challenging struggles faced by young people today. Our organization is comprised of two divisions, Poison Free and Hero Program. Please make a difference this holiday season by making a tax deductible donation to Beaver County’s Not-for-Profit Business of the Year. Your support will help the lives of many in need within our community in a sustainable way.
In 2009 the Hero Program has been able to provide thousands of dollars in financial support, two vehicles and much needed hospital bed to our Hero Families. This support has helped to ease the financial strain put on families of terminally ill children by filling in the gaps where insurance falls short. Please consider donating to Frontline Initiative to help support Hero families during this holiday season. Your support will make a big difference in the lives of families with terminally ill children.
Poison Free is ramping up to expand its Growing Roots community garden program by 400 percent in the coming year. This year proved to be such a success in our first year that we have been asked to expand the program to other housing communities within Beaver County in 2010. Poison Free’s Creative Technology program has provided great opportunities for students to get exposure to cutting edge technology and continues to be our largest fund raiser. Our website designs can now been seen for businesses all over the United States. See examples at www.poisonfree.org.
You can help support our initiatives to support those on the frontlines of life with a donation made payable to Frontline Initiative.
Thank you for helping make a difference.
